CFedS and the Parcel Fabric

The parcel fabric is a record-driven system. The parcel fabric organizes parcel data based on the form in which it was originally recorded. Parcel data is recorded with records such as plans, plats, deeds, and records of survey. Its original foundation is data from the Geographic Coordinate Data Base (GCDB).

This CFedS continuing education course will explore the basic functionality of the system and how CFedS may utilize parcel fabric information to enhance their work and streamline field operations. The Parcel Fabric and its GCDB origin will be discussed.
