Course Description

This course provides students with the knowledge to be able to research the record and perpetuate, re-monument or monument corners in accordance with the 2009 Manual of Surveying Instructions.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Research the record.
  • Preserve existing evidence.
  • Rehabilitate (if necessary), re-monument, or monument the corner point.
  • Establish accessories.
  • Create the necessary documentation in accordance with the 2009 Manual of Surveying Instructions given corner points requiring perpetuation, re-monumentation, and monumentation.
