Course Description

This course provides students with a case study that examines a relicted lake and the available apportionment methods. This course involves using their knowledge and experience, the 2009 Manual, in addition to the Public Land Surveying, A Casebook to pass a course test as part of their continuing education requirement.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Given a relicted lake with the need to apportion the relicted portion, apply the five accepted methods of apportionment.
  • Given the results of the five apportionment methods, evaluate the results and select the appropriate method.
