Meander Lines Delineate “Sinuosity”

It has been emphasized throughout this series of riparian courses that federally surveyed meander lines represent an approximation of sinuosities along a body of water.

They are used to compute total areas of land.

Ordinary high water itself, not surveyed meander lines, actually constitutes the true boundary.
