Course Description

Upon completion of this course, students will understand the importance the Board places on the “relation to know corners” when determining if a corner is lost or obliterated. The case involves certain county road survey records discovered nearly 10 years after the BLM survey was approved.

1. Read the Hillstrom 180 IBLA 388 case which is located under the IBLA section of the CFedS website.
2. You must pass a test on the subject matter on the CFedS website.

Upon reaching the final quiz, you must answer at least 80% of the questions correctly to achieve a passing grade. Retakes are limited to once per 24 hour period.
