This presentation will provide an in-depth review of proper record research as part of the evidence
collection process in making field boundary determinations when surveying in the PLSS. This record
research includes consideration of corner records, Master Title Plats, Supplemental Survey Plats, field
notes, Land Patents, Control Document Index, and other public and private Land Status Records. CFedS
who attend and pass a related quiz will receive one continuing education credit.
