Course Description
The CFedS Panel has approved several courses designed to familiarize CFedS with key IBLA decisions. The course will consist of the following elements:
- Read the William D. Brown, 137 IBLA 31 case which is located under the IBLA section of the CFedS website.
- You must pass a test on the subject matter on the CFedS website.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, students will understand procedures for the evaluation of existing local corners; the proper use of topographic calls and fences to determine an original corner point; and how a properly executed survey protects bone fide rights.

Upon reaching theĀ final quiz, you must answer at least 80% of the questions correctly to achieve a passing grade. Retakes are limited to once per 24 hour period.
