Salary Ranges – Albuquerque, NM
GS-14: $123,485 – $160,533 per year
- Plan, lead, and conduct resurveys of the Public Land Survey System.
- Conduct legislative or congressional research to convey technical and legal views of the agency regarding survey issues or litigation cases.
- Review and approve requests for land/mineral surveys, Geographic Sciences Program, realty actions, or the use of Geographic Information Systems.
- Maintain awareness of all political and economic influences in the communities where survey activities are conducted.
- Design and implement strategies, which maximize employee potential and foster high ethical standards in meeting the organization’s vision, mission, and goals.
- Provide technical assistance to managers and program leads in the development or revision of policies, standards, and procedures.
